My assumption is, a retrograde planet is never out of light, light can be less, and retrograde planet is away from sun and closer to earth, so the gravity of retrograde planet can influence the earth more. And eventually lives on earth. But the rules are something new which we need to apply and experience.

And should we consider aspects of retrograde planets in clock wise or anti clock wise direction?
I have heard people saying aspects change to anti clock wise direction for retrograde planets. Which one is correct?
