Retro planet – number of days to go straight

Vinod Garu, This is about case study 155. It’s really a good one, where the basic assumptions based on vedic combinations went wrong and lagnadhipati retrograde aspect has really wrecked the life.

But you mentioned 17 days for Mercury to be checked if it ’ ‘ s coming out of retro aspect. Understand your explanation at the end of the video. But you always used 30 days as a thumb rule so far.

Can you explain this difference a bit clearly if you can?

30 days is the common rule but before judging I do also consider the planet’s Dasha period as per vimshottari Dasha for example if Mercury is 17 years the planet should get direct in 17days from the birth date.
