I have selected the country and birth place to USA and Dallas, TX, USA on RVA software.
Do we also need to change the default location from settings to United States when we are casting the birth chart of an USA born person?

If you change your default location in RVA Software, it will also be reflected in KP softwares too.

No, you do not need to change that.

Thank you very much. So I will put only country and birth place details but will not change the default location. They have given birth time as per CST timezone; I do not need to convert that into IST right?

if you select the correct place of birth it should pick timezone for you. Click “ ” advanced ” ” to notice it

You do not need to do that. because in some cases if you convert you may miss DST Daylight saving time , RVA Software will automatically do DST adjustments for you
